We shouldn’t be asking people to post less, in order to increase diversity. Diversity comes from others posting more.

I disagree. Having one person posting a ton of low quality monolithic content is not great for content in general. Its better to have a ton of random people post content. The creation creative and diverse content is obstructed when the entire sub is mostly from on user.

Honestly what we need are theme days

Exactly, a ton of people posting is what’s good. The problem we have is that we have a lot more lurkers then posters here on Lemmy. PugJesus is one of the few consistently posting to the community. Instead of discouraging PugJesus from posting, we should encourage others that want to see more diverse content, to post more diverse content.

Pugjesus is posting for the sake of posting. If there is less activity people will be more willing to engage

I’ve just blocked a dozen or so accounts. No furry crap on my feed for a while now.

Took me a second to realize that the title of the post was misspelled. It says “fury”, not “furry”.

Here I was thinking “People have been posting so many Nick Fury memes that folks are sick of them? Damn. I haven’t seen any.”

I figured it was a typo as well. Or then I’m oblivious to what a fury meme is 😅 Luckily Lemmy lets you edit the title, so we’ll see if OP makes a change.
