Alan Wake's gameplay is said to be so scary, that co-protagonist Saga Anderson's story is considered a breather for players... but still very scary.

Still a wait and see for me but this is sounding promising at the very least

    I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited for a game in the last couple of years. Shame that it’s an Epic exclusive though…

      I end up waiting for it to come to Steam, then a year later they want launch day pricing so I wait another year. Then a year later it’s only down to -50% on sale, for a 2 year old game and I continue waiting.

      Epic exclusivity ruins good games.

    I loved the first Wake, and control is in my top 10 games of all time. I’m not going to ever pre-order but my hype level is through the roof.

    I’m so excited for this game. Control was absolutely fantastic, and Alan wake which I just finished, while kind of janky, had imo a stellar story. So stoked!!!
