  • A label, in all honesty. Historically they’re not left nor right nor middle. They can have ideologies of many, but too long to get into here. I was being pedantic because it’s a slight bug of mine when they are labelled and boxed like that. For example Nikolai Bukharin and Alexei Rykov (Bukharinists) and others like Joseph Stalin were not considered left but were communist.

  • I’m being a little pedantic here, but “far left (as in actually communist)” wasn’t a thing until these recent online debates and forming groups started putting labels on groups and putting them into boxes. Communists are not necessarily left, nor far left. It feels a bit weird to ‘put’ them anywhere. That said, I know nothing about hexbear or this little group on Lemmy and how they identify…

  • From small seeds… I had noticed a huge improvement regarding lemmy posts and threads, before the US election, and then it all kind of went backwards.

But if you have any questions about anything - niche or otherwise, you should post them on lemmy, helping it to grow faster. Even if the answers can already be found in other community forums.
You should get specific replies to your question anyway, but also anyone coming behind you won’t have to go to reddit or any other place for the answer. It requires everyone to help, but questions are the fastest way to grow in most cases. Not including the likes of subs that can post original content, A TON of reposts on them too, but some OC. But mainly asking for help with anything should get people with knowledge on the subject replying. With the idea that eventually many answers can be found here without having to go elsewhere. Start ‘spamming’ your genuine questions now…

  • What’s the issue you have with a non democratic country?

I genuinely think most people (I used to just think most Americans) don’t understand the alternatives.

Democracy has been proven not to work, and those involved in it will tell you that they agree, but there’s no better option. -

Which if you think about it, isn’t really an answer.

It’s like saying: Democracy doesn’t work, mathematically or otherwise. Try something that doesn’t breed corruption. They all do, democracy is just the best corruption.

Which is bullshit. Mixing it up is the best way to stop the corruption.

We need a lot of anarchy in the world right now, otherwise we’re just the fertilizer for power families. Our grandkids are fucked in general, except for the few that get a break.

  • Everything about it was shit. Hopefully Netflix will never get a sporting event again. Biased opinions all the way through the fights. Commentators talking about the other fights while fights were happening. During Barrios vs Ramos WBC belt fight, they were talking about the upcoming fights. Their audio went to Holyfields earpiece, later on a mic went. Their servers crashed. Rosie Perez is not ‘the first lady of boxing’ What other commentary there was, was horseshit. Plugging all their shows by zooming in on their ‘celebrity’ crowd. I’m paying premium to watch the boxing. I don’t give a fuck about Jamie Foxx and Cameron Diaz and their new shit film. Or the two Cobra Kai clowns. Every five minutes. The trailers for the shows just interrupted everything. I couldn’t watch the best fight of the night live because their servers went down.
