Can’t argue with that.

Can’t argue with that.

I am neither a furry, nor into VR pole dancing, but you should drop us a link for shits and giggles. I’d rather support people doing their weird hobbies for fun instead of meaningless wage slave jobs for misery.
Don’t feel compelled to, if you don’t want to associate your Lemmy profile with your VR furry pole dancing profile, but if you are having fun with it, you should consider sharing it regardless of how good you are, if only to show other people that this thing exists, and they may have fun with it too

One final safety check should have come after she checked it
Frankly, if I was running this operation, I’d have chalked out zones requiring different amounts of equipment to proceed through, depending on how close you are to the jump.
Example, to be in this area, you need to have had a safety briefing, to be in this area, you need to have your harness and helmet on, to get to the next area, you need to be connected to a safety line, then the next area requires that you are connected to the primary line, and the last area requires that a jump director reviewed your setup and put a visible “jump ready” flag on your harness.

Surströmming out here catching strays.

Eh, propaganda isn’t about truth or fiction, it’s about manipulating media to push a narrative.

One of the needs was not driving a huge ass truck for the 99% of trips where a smaller, more efficient car works so much better.

I can’t see, you can’t see, all that matter is, can the fuckin horse see!
Ah, you were making the joke… Sorry. Carry on.
It didn’t strike me as an offhand racist joke. It looks like normal use of the word.
Maybe if they had been more specific, by saying “.ML has a particular…” Or “Chinese-infested servers have a particular…”, then that would definitely tilt me towards the racist meaning of the word.

It’s primarily a regular word used in it’s normal context here…

Yeah, that’s the most needed /s on the internet right there.

I will if you restore the comment you deleted first. Let’s have clear and honest communication, or none at all.

You know… If you consistently espouse and vehemently defend the same talking points that I’ve been hearing from Republicans for the last my-whole-life, I think it is fair to call that you a Republican. You might self-identify as something different, the same way North Korea identifies as a democracy, but that just changes the label, not the ideology.

Did you try reading the comment that I initially replied to? I don’t think the context can be any more clear. Let me know if you need me to put it all in one post for you with detailed explanations, but I really don’t think that is necessary.

This is exactly the sentiment of Republicans here when migrants come to the US to seek a better life.
Congrats on not being better than them, but just being somewhere else.

In that case, it’s better to just run a conventional hybrid if you frequently need to take long trips.

I never make special trips for petrol, nor do I ever have to wait to get on a pump.
Calling bullshit on this. I drove a gas powered car for 16 years. Unless you started driving earlier this year, you’ve definitely done both of those things at this point.

You can get a shorter range EV if that fits your needs. Gas engine just adds weight and complexity.
I watched my dad die in the Jefferson Memorial. I remember the reflecting pool being so thick with hostile green scum, you’d need military grade hardware to clean it all out.
