To be clear, the current FDA guidelines on Nutraceuticals is that they have to be treated as food. This is loose because of people like Orin Hatch, who rigged the system for his daughter’s supplement company, which was also found to contain no amounts of some of the ingredients that were listed on the bottle. To make regulation looser would only be possible by not requiring supplements to be edible or by not requiring a list of ingredients (including allergens).

It’s pretty well known they were bred to be fighting dogs for blood sports. It doesn’t mean they end up that way, but intervention is needed in places other breeds do not require it.
The conversation is nuanced and long, but TLDR is that it is a breed which requires more training than other breeds. It’s also important to note that many owners’ version of training is ineffective or counter productive.
Pitbulls are highly energetic and much like great Danes, grow up physically much faster than mentally. They end up being an extremely powerful dog, chalk full of muscles, who crave constant attention and behave like a puppy. Well, puppies bite, and when a dog bites you, you tend to address it (give it attention). Compounding this, they’re also not very smart and it takes a while to train them. Compounding this further, they have instincts like all dogs where pushing is met with resistance (something Cesar talks about a lot with food etiquette around dogs), and basically everything they do is exaggerated with their enormous energy.
Comparing them to a breed like a Labrador, the obliviousness, energy, strength, and attention needs are not the same.
They can be very good dogs, but effort was made to achieve that. There are dogs who have been bred to be home bodies and they much more naturally fall into a “good dog” category. Pitbulls were bred for dog fighting and blood sports. This is not a good start for family’s first dog.
To put this into other terms. There are chickens who have been bred for cock fights. They can be good roosters, but watch your back and be ready to remove them if they attack your hens. That being said, predators beware. Different breeds have different specialties, if you want one for the look be very deliberate about what actions you are going to take to change the “natural outcome” of their behavior being the behavior you don’t want.

I’ve noticed this problem got far worse the older my bottle got. It doesn’t seal super well, so I wondered if it could be avoided degrading in a better bottle.
My favorite adjacent ink that I’ve used is diamine enchanted ocean, but that has particles. It has a similar red sheen on dark blue that can look beautiful when the pen sits in the sweet spot of flow. The least susceptible to dry out inks I’ve used have been from pennonia, but I also have not tried very many brands tbf. Nothing I’ve seen sheens as intensely as nitrogen. If I got another bottle I’d definitely consider plumbers tape at the least unless I was going to use it every refill.

Nah, but that is how some people view and use it. It doesn’t bother me personally if it seems intentional to quicken clarity. It at least makes more sense to me than possession on a name ending in ‘s’, E.G. Bernie Sanders’ policies. It breaks down further if the Sanders had a family reunion, what is the Sanderses’? Sanders’? preference for food?

Rule 6 is a necessary evil. The reason is that websites which are truly off the rails are often singled out. A mostly leftist forum would be even more likely to be targeted. Community mods should on occasion think what would these posts look like on an FBI filing, or on a hit piece on the DSA for example. Not the same morally, but famously many nationalist/racist sites have been targeted and then had their hosting or ddos protection revoked because of content on the site calling for death or celebrating it with their rules and enforcements having no such limitations.
Different levels of extremes than here obviously, but the corporate landscape and justice dept is not on our side here and so interpretations which seem obvious to you may not be made before damage has been done.
Above all, mods have a responsibility to not create problems for the site that hosts their coms, regardless of deserved or undeserved protection on someone’s legacy.
