11·27 days agoTry Rolling them on the counter after boiling/steaming. Doing this seems to separate the membrane from the egg, letting you pull most of the shell off with the membrane.

Climate@slrpnk.net•Why thousands of New Yorkers swap gas for induction stoves in clean energy push: ‘It makes sense; States from California to Georgia are promoting induction stoves for climate, health and cost benefits41·28 days agoI did read the summary, but aren’t the standard voltage of a power outlet 230~V? Maybe I’m too tired and missing something.
EDIT: I forgot that the US uses a different standard, my bad.

What would be the point of a 120V stone? Maybe for an off grid cabin with limited power?

14·1 month agoSounds wondeful, though it’s not possible in some parts of the world. Here in Sweden you need a phone to use a lot of services, and very few places still accept cash as payment.

Of course there is in general, but in this specific case I meant that couldn’t do anything but watch these poor animals die on screen.
This is the reason I could only watch one episode of Our Planet. The amount of animal suffering shown made me feel down for the entire week.
I understand it’s important to show the impact the destruction of native environments has on animals, but I can’t do anything to change it, so seeing this just made me feel even more helpless.
Yeah, we’ve tried adding more scratching posts of various sizes, tried foil, citrus, ignoring him when he scratches the couch while praising him when using scrathing posts, and probably more methods that I’m forgetting. The little asshole still won’t leave the couch alone.
I’m sorry to hear that, saying goodbye is truly the worst part of pets. I hope you’re holding up ok.
Slop both literally and figuratively.
