Thats good! I hope it goes well
I would definitely get a full dental exam. We had another cat who also had chronic inflammation of his gums which caused them to bleed often. Similar to what you experienced, we found blood on his mouth and the walls cuz he would shake his head. He ended up getting some teeth removed and didn’t have any issues after that. And as for the bad breath, that usually is an indicator of bad teeth hygiene, cavities or possibly rotting teeth. They can even have broken teeth that food gets stuck in which causes issues. I hope they can find the issue and fix it!
I’m sorry to hear about your cat. I agree that pet insurance is a good option. This is my brothers cat and unfortunately he struggles to pay his own bills and I know he won’t consider getting pet insurance… And I appreciate you sending what you can.
There are pictures of him on the site, but I realize now I probably should have got more pics of him and posted on here. I’ve never done this before and wasn’t sure how best to ask for help. But seeing how ppl don’t like my post I realize I could have done it better. Thank you for your tips.
That sounds like it would be useful. I’ll check it out. Thanks for the tip!
I had to look up a guide for how to manually partition the drive, but it’s working! And it didn’t affect my other drives. Thanks.
Thanks! Thats very helpful. I wasn’t aware that software existed.

10·5 months agoMy aunt told me a story about how her mother had to be rushed to the hospital in an ambulance. On the way to he hospital, she died in the ambulance, the paramedics revived her, got her to he hospital and she lived another 5 years. After my aunt told me that story, she immediately thanked God instead of the paramedics and other medical professionals who saved her mother’s life…

1·5 months agoI already had the Fdroid store installed and made an account on the app. Unfortunately, it looks like it only works with other ppl who have an XMPP account. There’s no way I’ll be able to convince my friends to switch to a different messaging app so I’m stuck with regular RCS for now. Thanks for the info.

1·5 months agoInteresting, if I switched to a program that uses XMPP, would it work with my friends who are using RCS and SMS? Or could I only use it with friends that use it as XMPP as well?
EDIT: XMPP is an internet based protocol right? And doesn’t use cell towers like regular calling or texting right?

1·6 months agoI am in the research process right now. I’m having trouble finding my great - great grandfather’s birth certificate. I’m getting worried because I contacted someone and they said not everyone had a birth certificate in the 1800s. I can find him on census records that list him and both his parents and where they are from. But Im not sure if census records count for this application. Were you able to find actual birth certificates/records for each family member?

Building a PC right now is not the best idea, RAM and storage prices have increased a lot (in the US) anyway. And I agree with the comment that pretty built aren’t the best option either. My friends who have got pre Built’s have both had issues with them. Alternatively, steam just announced their new steam machine which will be based on their steam OS and I believe will have a normal linux desktop environment like the steam deck does. As for distro, I use and recommend linux mint. It’s designed very similar to windows and you don’t need to access the terminal as often as some other distros. I have an Nvidia 4070 and it works perfectly fine with mint.

Oh no. I’m sorry to hear that. Thats good it hasn’t developed into AIDS yet. I agree, giving up the cat or euthanizing isn’t an option for me either. Hopefully he doesn’t feel too bad and can live a happy life.
