Thing is, she has kinda done that work herself, despite the incredibly limited resources of an inmate.

She openly talks about how her mental health and past trauma caused her to do it, admits that doesn’t mean she’s not guilty of doing it, advocates for better mental health care, and during her time in prison, when she wasn’t stuck in solitary for literal years on end, she has saved multiple lives of other inmates.

This women did something truly repugnant. But she does not deserve to be murdered for it. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. Her boyfriend took a box cutter and carved a pentagram into their victims chest while she was alive and screaming. He got life.

Their friend who taunted and tortured the victim, and stood look out while her head was bashed in? She got parole.

But this one person involved had to spend years in solitary, has repeatedly had her rights denied, and is being murdered by the state.
