Edit: Misinformed.
Ohhh. I thought it was just an image/PR thing,
but that makes so much more sense, because there is direct financial benefit. Thanks for educating!Still, at least the charities also benefit from it. Probably does feel easier for most people to spare a few cents while shopping, potentially avoiding small change, instead of having to actively donate a few dollars.

I see what you did there with the generic background this time ;-)

Anyway, here is one that’s a bit pricey, but does the job very well. You get so used to it; I don’t even use it that often and recently tried to swipe across my main large mechanical keyboard keys 😄

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•How do you respond to "hey, how are you" when you feel like garbage?
3·2 months ago“Thanks, how are/about you?”
So, not responding and directing the attention to the person who asked. Especially useful, if the person asking isn’t even (genuinely) interested, but just asking as a form of greeting. The ones who care might either understand you don’t want to talk about it or will inquire once more.
Hmm… Now that I think about it, that is awfully close to some US American’s way of replying with the exact same question, omitting any kind of reply, concluding the greeting.
A bit of horny, but yet feels so wholesome.

Wonder, if the scene after the cut was actually filmed earlier as he seems to be less lively in the first sequence hehe Also wonder, whether he got sore muscles after that shoot ^^

Mine looks weird 😄
I was curious: https://www.thecut.com/2014/08/sleep-hack-keep-one-foot-outside-your-covers.html
TL; DR: Our bodies cool down when sleeping, feet can help regulate temeprature, so we may be able to initiate sleep better/quicker using our feet to cool down.
There is no study in the article; it’s speculation by “Natalie Dautovitch, a spokesperson for the National Sleep Foundation and a psychology professor at the University of Alabama”.
This also works surprisingly well. Once it actually runs… It can be quite buggy.

8·10 months agoWhile this happened a few years ago, I’d still suggest to block it from accessing the internet/cloud in your firewall nonetheless.

Even if it’s not on eufy’s end, there could always be a vulnerability.
