Texas is not a democracy, any voting totals there are suspect until hand counted by people being witnessed by others.

And that is not a new thing; ballot stuffing using secret computer voting systems has been a thing for the last 3 decades. And before that, there were many sketchy practices going back since the end of reconstruction.

Anyone, who is familiar with Texas politics, and tried to reform it, knows it stinks on many levels and ways; so much so that it’s hard to pinpoint who cheats how.

In fact, in several states, it’s the only honest ballot counting there is; when the only other option is using a privately run counting system that flunks United Nations testing

Flock is the lightning rod; and everything I have noticed about American politics tells me the grassroots are incapable of fighting a cluster of companies offering similar services: each having a complicated back story to understand.

But even in the more rational publications like this, there are lines the writers and editors dare not cross. And it shows.

Here is a war criminal who should be promptly arrested; and the whole article is how he lied about this one thing.

This man has uttered dozens, hundreds, over a thousand lies recorded in the public record; and is directly responsible for hundreds of murders and thousands of lesser war crimes

This iconic and morally upstanding character is being too harshly treated here; there are a few scenes that could be seen as morally iffy. As a consequence, I am writing my local politician.

I’ve seen this decline for a long time. People visiting from Europe and Asia will often ask why nobody is outside. The streets empty of pedestrians of all ages.
