Oh well, I prefer Mastodon myself. Personally, I only really use Bluesky for following content creators I like. Unfortunately, the chances of someone having a Mastodon account is rare right now (at least in my experience, but I’m still relatively new to the fediverse). I’d rather not be greeted with CSAM whilst doing the same for X anymore. We can at least agree that X should no longer be considered at all.

Personally, I’m preparing to do things to resist in my personal life like preparing to buy firearms and training with them as well as researching how to obtain gender affirming care by illegal means for my sister’s sake.

When it comes to actually defeating the fascists though? Unless we all gather into an organized armed uprising, then all I can do is protest and prepare to defend my loved ones with my life. The best I can do is hide in the shadows waiting for that organized resistance. Once that happens, hopefully I will have practiced with a firearm enough to give my life up to defeat them. If we all fail, then there will be nothing that can stop him considering the entire democratic party are essentially the same thing

It might not be implying that we’ll fight Trump with voting, but rather Trump has no right to cancel the midterms by dragging us into a war over Greenland because we didn’t cancel the election during the Civil War. If they actually did start to post discriminatory content or hate speech on Bluesky, then they should by all means become banned like everyone else would since that would be breaking ToS. Those “gotta catch em all” posts on Twitter is not going to be tolerated by Bluesky…at least I hope. Normally I’d agree, but ICE is a government organization and since people get their news on social media these days, it makes sense that ICE doesn’t get banned as long as they follow ToS.

Does a verification equate to an endorsement now? I’m strongly against ICE, but as long as ICE exists, then it makes sense to verify their official account. That’s all verification is to me at least, just something to let you know it’s the real _ account rather than an imposter.

Up until that last paragraph at least. Not that I’m for minors getting trans surgeries, but they were never getting those surgeries in the first place until they turn 18. So, the fact that they bothered to make a law about it speaks to the rising transphobia in our government on both sides. So, I personally wouldn’t consider it good news. As much as I would love to believe the good in humanity, at this point I’m skeptical that even if 50% of the population started to resist the government that it would do anything. After all, both viable parties are in the pockets of the billionaires that bought our current government. So unless we have a straight up armed uprising, this will mean nothing.
