Windows 10 and 11 are the worst so far, though I didn’t fall on the Win 8 dagger.

Windows 10: Forced OneDrive, always running-but beyond useless Cortana

Windows 11: See above, plus we did everything we could to hide interface options (right-click copy/paste is now hidden behind another click)

I switched to Bazzite a few months ago, and so far the only game I’ve had issues with is Fallout 4, single digit frame rate, but ymmv.

Yeah, I’ve gotten some not so subtle anime tentacle porn game ads.

I’ve been looking for a mobile Linux terminal so I can ssh without hunt and peck, if this was under $200, it looks like it would be perfect…

Edit: If anyone had a recommendation for a non-build-your-own (I’m not in a living position where I can diy) mobile dumb terminal, I’m all ears!

I was a web developer for a few years, WordPress killed the joy I had. Every update could break something because the client wanted a website, but also wanted to use WordPress, so we had to customize the hell out of each install.
