could have fooled me; my biggest issue with the fediverse is the lack of content and reddit’s content just keeps getting bigger and bigger by the day.
fortunately it works for me since i want to detox myself from all social media and the fediverse has so little content to i’m done after 30/45mins per day; in fact, i can still spend hours on reddit unregistered lurker and get more content every day than the entirety of the fediverse since its creation, combined.
when it gets stuck on something like that, it’s because of a hardware related change; did you update or modify your bios recently or change hardware drivers?
this would be better w dodge 1500’s because those drivers are statistically much worse than ford 150 drivers. lol
Still, for a party that has spent years ignoring or denying the biggest threat to our planet’s future, tonight’s responses were actually, almost, a little bit refreshing.

i’ve lost track of the number of times this has happened to me since joining the fediverse and part of me wishes i had stayed on reddit to remain ignorant of the of ignorant liberal masses.
but only if you know enough about the fediverse to be aware; if i had no logged into like i usually don’t do on these days, i would never know and spend the rest of my time on lemmy.world trying to figure out why i can’t find any pirating stuff to share.
If I’m going to spend all this money on living expenses I may as well do that somewhere better.
i did something similar between austin, texas and chicago, illinois. now my new place is 2x the size; w lots of amenities; costs less than texas; but most importantly, my new home isn’t descending into a conservative fascist hell hole while everyone just sits around and watches it happen while simultaneously ignoring the clear reasons why and how to help it. lol
