I regularly see videos and images from the war in Ukraine on lemmy. It is marked as NSFW, and blurred, so it looks nearly identical at a glance to content that is NSFW due to sexual content.
I would prefer if those two things were visually distinct in the interface.
I think so, I think lemm.ee has no NSFW allowed, which for me makes it a good “main” account as I don’t want to see gore, don’t want anything racy showing up when I’m in public and have alts if I ever feel like looking up dirty stuff on Lemmy, lol.
HOLY FUCK! I’ve been on the wrong god damn instance… To be fair I only made one on Lemm.ee because I was looking up Reddit alternatives and people kept saying go to lemmy.
So I type in Lemmy.com, and somehow I get redirected to Lemm.ee, had no idea what the fuck I was doing or what a federated was.
There’s some porn centric ones but personally scrolling pictures slowly and waiting for loading isn’t really a great way for me to get in the mood. Same for Reddit.
EDIT (2023-10-01T07:00Z): Unless you meant that you can’t upload NSFW to lemm.ee, then you are correct – you cannot – that is, aside from the fact that all image uploads are currently banned on lemm.ee due to CSAM concerns.

Maybe it’s because my main account is lemm.ee? I just don’t see that stuff at all and I primarily browse All.
