      Like what?

I’m sure more than one of those people have issues with languages that some of the others are well versed in, and interpreters have been part of international diplomacy as long as there has been diplomacy.

The context is multicultural international relations. While it’s not impossible to have a good understanding of other cultures without learning their languages and reading relevant literature in the original language rather than a translation it’s highly unlikely.

Again, so what? Others have already pointed out that translations and interpreters work. Is english suddenly the national language of all of Europe?

Nothing has been “refuted” more than a “nu uuuuuh!”

You still haven’t said what’s the issue with translations or interpreters.

Oh ah, I am so high and mighty ~OP of comment above

Get over yourself. You came into this thread, stated falsehoods, people called you out. Now you are resorting to personal attacks because in the end, you are wrong and you have nothing else to prove your wrong claims.

You might also look into how international relations work if you think the language issue is the biggest.

You might want to reread my comments if you think I argued it was the biggest issue. I never said nor implied that.
