I do, but as more people join I’m also feeling a little republican - i got my spot and this is good; everyone on the outside can go fuck off now. I don’t want it to get so big that it’s what we left. No intended disrespect or lack of acknowledgment to those who were here before.
yep, i will happily admit that i’m in the new relationship/honeymoon phase on Lemmy right now. today i saw my first full rainbow thread of discussion and i find that there’s a genuine, somewhat pure sense of enjoyment. maybe this is how the high feels before the addiction kicks in.
i have mixed feelings regarding its growth. i want the community to grow and thrive, but at the same time i don’t want it to turn into reddit: the next generation.
