Hi, everyone! A few of you have brought to my attention that lemmy.world is not receiving new posts from fanaticus and vice versa.
I’ve been debugging it and haven’t been able to resolve the issue. Fanaticus’ nginx logs are reporting that all requests incoming from lemmy.world are returning a 400. Additionally, we’ve found that outbound requests to lemmy.world from fanaticus are being responded to with a CloudFlare page.
I am reaching out to the lemmy.world admins to see if we can get fanaticus’s IP whitelisted on their CF config. I’ll update this thread with any news.
Good to know, I hadn’t been aware of this issue. Thanks for the update!
Yeah, seems like it has been going on for at least a week based on the missing posts I’m noticing at miamihurricanes@fanaticus.social. Glad it’s being addressed, and hoping it gets resolved soon!
Now it makes sense why I stopped seeing your daily countdown posts! I was a little concerned. I went ahead and added this account as a mod to the Miami community.
Thanks! Yup, I’ve been keeping the countdown going! Hoping they sync over when the issue is fixed.
I would imagine that they should sync when federation is resolved.
Also, are you a Jets fan also? I just realized you’ve been posting over there so I was going to make you a mod of that community so that there is one less community for me to take care of this season.
Yup, Jets fan as well. Yeah feel free to add this account and my lemmy.world accounts as mods. Until things stabilize at .world I’ll probably be back and forth on these accounts.
