I’ve never been banned from huge swaths of servers for “ignorant lib chauvinism,” on Reddit. Not once in the 14 years I used the platform.

I’ve spotted tons of death threats, misandry, and calls to violence here. Those aren’t good ingredients to build a reddit replacement.
