The anxiety was a good thing in a way because it meant you had to make a real choice rather than just having it all

You still have to make a choice when you have limited time for tv. You’re just not restricted by what is broadcasting in real time.
Not true. Screens in daylight still ruin the TV experience. And all those nature sounds drown out the sound from the phone!
