It ZigZags. It says: “I never wanted the reason I finally started prioritizing myself to be our breakup”, or did I get it backward? My memory is short.
If you start top right and zig zag down and then back to top left it reads “I never wanted our breakup to be the reason I started prioritizing myself”.
I think this is right but I feel like the other one makes more sense in the fact that needing to break up with someone because you started taking care of yourself is way more damming of them and their betrayal of you and your boundaries than the normal cycle of breaking up and focusing more on yourself after the fact.
