Eagles are much better at (and more likely to use) hit-and-run tactics, though. If it’s one of the larger species, they could just swoop down and cut your jugular before you even notice them. But IDK if you can train them to fight like that, AFAIK they don’t generally go for prey that they can’t carry away in one piece.
