I went to the torture museum in Chicago and saw this device. Having seen the replica up close, I’d take the essay.

Yea, but most kinks don’t involve breaking all the bones in your limbs to tie them around wheel spokes.

Yeah, I just read up on it. Now I’m feeling sick. I’ll take the essay any day.

Seriously, the depravity of medieval torture and/or execution devices is astounding. It shows in nö uncertain terms what humans are capable of doing.

Yeah going through that museum was a tough experience just seeing all the horrible things human beings are capable of doing without any empathy. And so much of it was carried out by the Church.

I always preferred essays to multiple guess tests. Sometimes, you can bullshit your way through to an A.

Why know things when you can just sound like you know things?

You do have to know things, but you don’t always have to interpret the questions as intended by the test writer.

That really depends on the essay topic and the teacher… it’s often a guessing game about what arguments and conclusion the teacher considers valid. Really depends on the teacher and how far off the mainstream your arguments and conclusions are, though.
