SPOILER: Ron Artest got 86 games for Malice in the Palace, but OJ Mayo got a 2 season ban for multiple steroid violations. These are the only two players in NBA history who got suspensions of 1 season or greater.

I, legitimately shocked Ja only got 25 games. Stern would have given him the whole season.
But Silver is not Stern. He’s very pro player.
Surprisingly enough whole season suspensions are exceedingly rare. I think if it were stern it’d be closer to 42 games. Though coming from the NFL where whole season and half season suspensions are handed out like candy it does feel exceedingly lenient
