I see that this issue was supposedly fixed in Beta 29, but I’m still unable to share images with the Direct option on Beta 40.

How to reproduce:

  1. View an image post
  2. Click the share button under the contextual menu on the image
  3. Select share
  4. Nothing happens

Device: Pixel 7 Android: 14 Beta 5, build #UPB5.230623.005 Sync: Beta 40 Sync variant: Ultra

    Dumb question but are images allowed on your instance? Some disabled it after illegal content was posted and federated

      I was afraid that’d be the case, I’ve had nothing but issues with Android 14. Hopefully it’ll get fixed in a future version.

    It’s strange because it’s an issue for sync but works on Voyager, thunder and connect. I have a 7p on 14 preview. Same issue.
