I’m dipping my toes in Lemmy and Mastodon, and they’re both awesome so far. I’ll just let my Reddit account wither away. 🤷🏽♀️
blueskys sadly closer to old twitter mastodon held off on qts forever, sharkey has the best ui/ux havemt really used it tho, wish miskey wasnt xenophobiv or whaatever

There’s definitely more I’ve accumulated over the past couple years but those two come to mind first. There is also a tool that automates the new community federation process here if your admins participate.

I think you’d be hard-pressed to find a LinkedIn alternative. It’s too business-oriented for anyone to care that it’s under corporate control. In some sense, that’s the whole point.
My understanding of Friendica is that it’s supposed to fill a niche similar to Facebook. I’ve never used it though.

I once got a warning for site rule 4 when I told a fetishist she shouldn’t be in a subreddit for minors regarding that fetish. Somehow that was suggestion sexual exploitation of minors. I suspect that user reported my comment out of retaliation to try and kick me off reddit. I didn’t appeal it because I figured i would just avoid that topic in the future and it was only a warning, not a perm ban or suspension.
