Wondering how many instances fanaticus has defederated from or has been defederated from simce I haven’t found fanaticus communities in my main account and similarly don’t see many other here.

Federation is odd. I have accounts with lemmy.world, lemmy.ca, and fanaticus.social. I can see this post from all three. But from my lemmy.world and fanaticus.social accounts, I saw someone from lemmy.world commented here. But from my lemmy.ca account, I can’t see that person’s comment…
Edit: I should add that the inability to see the comment from lemmy.ca is likely because no one from lemmy.ca searched for the fanaticus.social meta community before. Now that I did, comments should federate.
Now I didn’t know that’s how federation works, that’s cool
To see communities from other instances, someone from this instance has to subscribe to those communities.
You can create an account to subscribe to them if you don’t want to subscribe to them yourself
