EU will hand Greenland over to Trump on a silver platter and claim it was a victory for Europe.
I really anticipate the EU will simply hand over Greenland in the end. There will be much hand wringing and statements decrying the situation between then and now, but the political leaders of Europe are miserable US Bootlickers. The mega corporations that run Europe will never allow a real schism between them and the US to form.

This whole thing has been great to show libs that the US is an empire. If all that stops you from taking your “allies’” lands is politeness, and you have their economies tied to yours, and host your military on their land, those are vassals. Denmark has no recourse whatsoever to Trump deciding Greenland is his. It is a vassal state, and the US has kept up the kayfabe of mutual diplomatic honor and recognition only to keep its vassals docile.

I disagree wholeheartedly. This shit happening under Trump is the best thing to keep Libs from changing their ideals. Libs will learn nothing from this because they will literally only blame it on big bad orange man. Orange man is the only problem. America isn’t bad, only orange man. They will then turn and blame orange man on leftists and non-voters for not voting for the blue fascist. Because “this wouldn’t be happening under blue fascist. Only red fascist orange man bad.” They will then fantasize about minorities, leftists, and non-voters being beat to death by the police and ice while they smuggle say “well I guess you should have voted for blue fascist.”
Sure, the priests of the cult will absolutely do that, but the cult is losing followers faster than ever.
I hope you are right. I’m at the point in my doomerism where I’m begging to be proven wrong. The populace of this country continues to just strive to go lower and lower in expectations.
My biggest worry is that people falling out of the liberal mainstream end up moving predominantly to the right. The biggest problem, in my opinion, is that the left doesn’t have a compelling narrative that hooks people in the way the right does. The level of organization is far worse, and this is really what we need to focus on right now. How do we convey our ideas in a clear and appealing way that clicks with people.
It is just inevitable when even the supposed “left” movies that come out can’t help but frame revolutionaries or leftists as hippies (i.e. One battle after another) and the fascists as badasses.

Last time i checked, the US is the boss of NATO and the honorary general secretary of NATO was licking Trump balls.
It could trigger a series of carefully worded statements from European vassals but nothing more.
Europe has nowhere else to go. Their elites put all their eggs in the yank basket and now they’re suffering the consequences.
Their collective response is going to be to fight each other to see who can stick their tongue up Trump’s ass further.
