One of the most interesting parts of this episode for me was Daniel Blake and BB Urich.
I keep on expecting there to be more to Daniel like he’s kingpin’s “heir,” so when he went “No I’ll just be at my ma’s house” i wemt “omg, is his mom… Vanessa???”
But then he said “in staten island” and we all know Vanessa was too fancy for that.
But THEN BB creeps into his room, and it’s ovviously aupposed to be significant but i didn’t see anything actually eye catching. So, a stretch here, but was ths guy in his photo supposed to be Wesley? I think that aouod be a really nice way to tie stories together, if Daniel is Wesley’s son.
Fight at the end was nice but also a bit short and shot from far away for fancy framing
I think BB going in Daniel’s room was a reminder that he’s a good kid.
Daniel really thinks that Kingpin in a good man trying to clean up the city. He really thinks he is helping the city.
BB has been using him and violating his trust. She was just about to do it again. But that moment reminded her that Daniel is a person, a kid with dreams, a good person, so she stopped.
I’ve been saying for weeks that it’s a shame we don’t have Frank this season. But after Karen put a gun to Bullseye’s head I see why we can’t have Frank. Frank would have pulled the trigger, easy peasy.
Matt won’t. Karen might.
Karen is looking for someone to tell her to just do it, and Frank would say go for it.
