Just curious, are we sure the numbers reported are “net gain” and not “number of new subscribers”? Distinction being “number of new subscribers” would be all the people that signed up, and “net gain” would be all the people that signed up & subtract those that canceled?

Earnings reports are always full of word tricks to paint the prettiest picture so I’m just curious if we know the net number?

For example, all those articles that came out a week after the change went into effect were bullshit bc they didn’t take into account people who canceled and still had days left til their end of month, instead they only captured the 3 days after the policy change and Netflix got all the media to report this awesome stat for them.

Example - I have an account here at lemmy.world, but there’s https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/c/piracy community and I’d love to see their posts in one place on my lemmy.world account. How do I do this? If I navigate to that link, it asks me to create a lemmy.dbzer0 account to subscribe so i dont think i’m following the correct pathway

so what you have to do is search for that community on your own instance and then select it and subscribe that way. Can’t follow the link directly to the instance, but rather have to search using lemmy.world’s search and follow the link from there. So for instance: https://lemmy.world/c/piracy@lemmy.dbzer0.com

I just dont think he compliments Curry defensively at all, and offensively, dont know that him & dray both out there together trying to both be mid-range merchants is worth it. I’m more of a UNC former players fan than a Hornets fan so wouldn’t feel right being the one in charge of that group. I basically follow the hornets around draft time and then check in on them during lulls in college bball
