Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Does anyone else hate how everyone is trying to make money all the time?English
11·22 days agoIt is exactly because of those wide generalizations and assumptions that I disagree in the first place. Do you know what platform you happen to be on? This isn’t Instagram

Buy it for Life@slrpnk.net•I am looking for a quality and durable headphone with high audio quality on a budgetEnglish
8·1 month agoA bit less than $200, but the Audio-Technica ATH M50Xs are a durable and quality workhorse. I’ve been using mine going on 10 years now and the only thing I’ve needed to do is replace the ear pads and add a protector around the head cushion. Highly recommend. Plus it has detachable cables of varying lengths and coils.
Side note: they do fold up for portability.
If this is correct, doesn’t that mean you can just “unredact” the entire document by systematically searching and replacing positions?

Those were hypothetical statements from people outside the studio.

9522·1 month agoThere’s nothing to complain about here. Games require tons of placeholders, in art, dialogue, and code. They will iterate dozens of times before the final product, and given Larian’s own production standards, there’s no chance anything but the most inconsequential or forgotten items made by an LLM will stay in.

News@lemmy.world•Trump scraps tariffs on beef, coffee and tropical fruit in a push to lower grocery store pricesEnglish
3·3 months agoRegardless of whether it’s the producer or someone else along the supply chain, the prices are able to stay up because the consumer will pay the increase price. At the source or not, that’s my only point

News@lemmy.world•Trump scraps tariffs on beef, coffee and tropical fruit in a push to lower grocery store pricesEnglish
20·3 months agoIt’s not even necessarily unfucking either. When distributors and producers learn a new higher price consumers will pay, it’s very easy for them to default to that price. They can just increase prices to match what it was with tariffs and nothing changes except more profit for the producers. We consumers wouldn’t even realize it since we’re so far removed from the source.
