watch one or two videos that are from a popular genre
This is why if I’m on desktop, I either open in a private window, or immediately delete the video from my YouTube history. Or if I’m on my phone, I open it on newpipe.
I think this is going to be my main.
Has accounts on lemmy.zip, lemmy.world, fedia.io and kbin.earth with the same handle

It’s when I ignore those suggestions that’s honestly are in line with what I’m currently obsessed with is when YouTube started showing me videos I’ve already watched
Very curious about piefed - looking forward to a mobile app in the near future hopefully!
I really like it on desktop. On default front end, it clicked the easiest. Though for lemmy I still prefer Tesseract, but all the other inherent features that’s not on lemmy, especially comments consolidation for same link, just trounces lemmy for me.
The android app Interstellar is testing piefed support, although currently only allows preferred.social instance IIRC. I registered on the flagship piefed.social instance, and I’m a bit too lived in on it to change instance. Maybe it’s better to see if I can migrate my account.
Rest in pancake
Thankfully for me, suicide are far down my list. I hope. Going to a professional to get my headspace sorted is definitely worth it. It would be no. 1, 3 years ago.
I’d rate heart attack as most likely, and other blood circulation related disease. Any obesity related affliction too. Cancer is in there somewhere high since I have family members with some kind of cancer.
That’s kind of weak, Skeletor. I expected worse.
Is the solution to delete my whole fething history for this? I have many auto complete I wish I can delete because the sites are dead
Yeah. I don’t mind the extension button there, since I don’t want all of my extensions on the toolbar, yet I still want to access less frequented extensions. But more organization for extensions would be more welcome.
I don’t see raindrop as a viable replacement. It didn’t have the read mode that strips formatting like pocket does. Nor does it save for offline reading
I assume it got worse because lenovo bought the smartphone division of Motorola years ago. Back then, yeah they were the bomb. I still look back fondly of my Moto Z Play. Its astounding what they did with it. Such “paltry” specs but it ran like a champ. Bloat from future android versions and moto getting acquired by lenovo put it down sadly.
I have a feeling that was pre Mozilla pocket offering a deal to kobo.
But hopefully I’m wrong and rakuten kobo will integrate with another service.
O don’t use an e-reader, but I remember the stress their migration process gave me. That’s when I found omnivore. Unfortunately for me that was 3 months before they have to shut down lol. Now I’m back at Instapaper. Shouldn’t have left it for pocket way back then.
I’m coming to the same conclusion. I have long migrated back to Instapaper (not related to Meta’s Instagram of anyone doesn’t know about it). And the only distinction saving to that vs bookmarks and raindrop, is that I save articles more often than not. And raindrop have a reader mode as well iirc.
And I don’t really go back to read all the articles I saved in instapaper that frequently. Might as well just drop that too, and just use raindrop (or linkwarden when I get around to trying Linux and self hosting).
That’s true. I did that for years when I stopped using Firefox even after using containers a bit. Forgot why I stopped before. Now I’m glad to be back on Firefox, and especially for containers.
constantly logging out/in and getting MFA prompts gets old.
that or even an account switcher like google does, still gets old lol
somehow I missed easy container shortcuts. thanks!
Figured pretty much everyone would do that
Yeah, already have their facebook container. But I believe they already have the function to allow a container to only open the sites I assign it to. So like their Facebook container, any links I click not of the sites it’ll just open in no container.
The cross site tracking is the lower of my concerns practically. It’s signing in to my multiple Google accounts without having to change accounts is my main goal.
A lot of things in life are improved once you excise the FOMO mind cancer.
Nothing isn’t that much better. Their latest Nothing 3A phones have a dedicated AI button and no alert slider
