Yeah but even then, it’s an extremely niche distro and 99.9% of Linux users using a password manager service are using bitwarden/vaultwarden. It just doesn’t make sense.

That stood out to me too. It comes preinstalled with Omarchy so thats something but also Omarchy has like, a thousand daily active users so even that doesn’t sit right.

“I’m harassing you for different reasons than the Kiwi Farms people are” is not the moral high ground you think it is.

You Kiwi Farms freaks need to update your wiki because /u/AdmiralPartick is deleted long ago. This is the main account, not an alt.

I think the newer raspberry Pis have CEC so if someone goes that route they wouldn’t even need a second remote
Edit: or just get a CEC adapter probably

I haven’t tested it but Plasma Bigscreen has apparently made a lot of progress, too.

You’re really going to argue with The Guy On YouTube??

There is a guy making LineageOS Android TV builds for Raspberry Pi and other devices.

Kodi is basically just a real-debrid frontend these days. There isn’t even a decent YouTube app for it.

I haven’t watched any of the latest season yet but I get the impression that the writers are going out on a “do what we always wanted to do” note like in Enterprise S4.

It’s ranked above Citizen Kane now

The hard question becomes is it better for Linux (where anyone can contribute labor) to get the attention and donations or for commercial software where only nonhuman corporations benefit.

I have a friend that was using a gas generator to to periodically charge a battery in his tool shed. One time I asked him if he thought of putting up a solar panel on the roof. He said it wasn’t sunny enough to run all his tools off of solar. When I suggested he use the panel to charge his battery it was like I blew his mind. People still don’t think of solar like that for some reason.

It’s crazy that Star Trek V was once considered the worst Star Trek film but is now universally considered among critics to be the greatest movie of all time.

I know! I hate that I want them…

Those exterior shots really stuck with me as well. I can’t imagine growing up with blurry spaceship models viewed on a CRT tv to the giant, sweeping, detailed close up and wide shots we get in that opening shuttle scene. Now people laugh about how long it goes on for but I have to imagine for a lot of fans it was still not long enough!

I forgot about that scene! Must be in the director’s cut.
Many Lemmy instances are essentially unmoderated and inevitably devolve into 4chan. Always report the problem users to your admins. If they notice a lot of reports from a certain instance they’ll (hopefully) defederate eventually.
