Well I won’t pretend it’s impossible. But I’ve been alcohol free for >2 years and had store bought edibles 2-3 times per week ever since. And over the years I haven’t noticed any pattern, sometimes a gummy will just be way stronger than the others in the pack, or have nearly no effect.

Maybe it’s some variable that I can’t correlate but I would think I would have noticed. Vapes feels fairly consistent is also a clue that it’s not just my system, but idk.

FYI I find the dose in store bought edibles are generally poorly mixed. It’s very common for one to have 2-3x the effect for me. I’ve tried many brands.

That’s why I take an edible at around 1/2 my desired effect, which for me is only 2mg, an hour before I want the effect and then take a vape to increase it to the preferred level. Reduces the amount of shit going in my lungs but makes the effect way more controllable.

The current most scalable way to do that is to give cities a budget to plant trees everywhere they can.

I would love a $Billion in green energy research, but 1000 cities getting $Million budgets to plant thousands of trees and maintain them over the next 15 years would be better

We should start buying farms in the Califoirnia Valley where they are essentially abusing water rights - and plant massive forests. It would take a fraction of the water to accomplish this and reduce desertification. Eat some of the smog from LA & SD, give the millions of residents a desert forest to camp in, and so on. Expensive plan but one I would vote for.

She was handling duties that she could to the pilot could focus on reading the relevant gauges and taking action. Her job was to manage comms, which is why you hear her on the tape.

As dark as this situation is I did laugh a bit when the following day I saw a new headline stating there were no survivors.

I don’t interpret their comment to imply the other pilot didn’t understand, just that her role was to manage the ATC communications which… is exactly what you agree with? The other pilot’s duty wasn’t to interpret the ATC guidance but to take action.

“Stupid questions” i.e. questions that reveal you are missing some basic common knowledge, are actually generally downvoted on No Stupid Questions. Along with any that intentionally agitate people or are otherwise bad faith, bury the lead or otherwise strawman The Correct Side in an unpleasant way.

There needs to be something at least marginally interesting about the conversation the question generates. If it’s just annoying/tedious/aggravating, people will downvote.
