He double tapped to kill first responders and assassinated a US citizen with a drone strike and no due process. Historically, there is a slight, but significant, reduction in majority violence against armed minority communities, e.g. areas of the Jim Crow south with higher rates of black firearm ownership. There is inherent value in the oppressors knowing that certain pockets of their targets are armed. Okay, serious question because I’m fairly knowledgeable about political science/philosophy but completely ignorant re military and covert operations: is this a situation where underhanded tactics like assassination of local political figures, etc. would be useful, or is that just ignorant Hollywood nonsense?

Brutal colonialism and installing an emperor within a couple of decades of demanding an end to authoritarianism? Slaughtering proto-socialists when they establish a commune in the capital? Treating Brown people with disdain and like perpetual foreigners? Demanding that African nations keep the bulk of their specie in our central bank?
