News@lemmy.world•US hits Bank of America with $1.2 billion fine, saying it violated money laundering, sanctions laws
4·18 days agoAt a quick guess? This is coming for other banks too to make room for TrumpBank.
If you find it does that, like:
Album1 7/12 tracks
Album2 1/15 tracks
Album3 4/21 tracks
I just click and drag Album2 and Album3 into Album1
Excellent thank you
This was really interesting, thanks. Something I’ll keep in mind for sure, but I did set it up with crontab -e so maybe I’m all good. Gonna play around with it some more over the next few days, there’s so much to learn. Linux is amazing
I see. I’m the only user and the .castgetrc file that I edit for the RSS feeds is located in home. The castget command works in terminal when I type it, but it may not if cron does it? Would that be because cron installs as root? I’m on Cachyos and had to install cronie as cron wasn’t preinstalled. If it doesn’t work I’ll try your suggestion.
I know -u is for user, what is -n – in this case?
I’ll keep that in mind thanks. Haven’t dipped my toes into scripts and things yet but this just opened up a world of possibilities lol
Got it. My system is always on so that’s no issue. Appreciate the help.
Huh. That’s shockingly simple.
I’m looking at cron. I just made a cronjob:
0 6 * * * castget -c
Is that it to run every day at 6am?
This seems way more straight forward than i remember lol. I’m on Cachy, which apparently doesn’t have cron out of the box. Just installed cronie, ran crontab -e, and if I enter:
0 6 * * * * castget -c
(with spaces between 0 6 * etc?) that’s it? It’ll run every day at 6am?
Great, thank you. I heard about cron jobs when I first switched to Linux but got overwhelmed. Appreciate the link.

Today I Learned@lemmy.world•TIL about Uncle John's Page of ListsEnglish
4·25 days agoIs it worth watching?
I’m guessing they’re talking about the 2020 miniseries. IMO, yes, it’s worth watching though from what I remember as it jumps through eras it wasn’t what I expected lol. Haven’t watched it since it came out but I recently rewatched Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell so I’m in a bit of a Victorian era vibe and gonna go through this Dracula again.

Maybe not favorite, but it’s up there. Best thing about the movie and really tells you all you need to know.

Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•Weekly Recommendations Thread: What are you playing this week?
1·1 month agoHave you tried 7? I’m really struggling to get into it. Been trying off and on for the last few months and finally hit the end of the first age but haven’t continued past it. I revisited 5 a while back (love it) but haven’t done 4 since it was the latest game. How’s it holding up?

Android@lemmy.world•Clicks Communicator upgraded to 12GB of RAM, larger battery, DBrand accessories, new demos, on track to ship December!English
1·1 month agoAs long as the battery only drops to around 50% on an average day I’m fine with it. I have gotten used to wireless charging but that’s not a deal breaker. I’ve been moving away from all-in-one tech lately to devices with a single use (like a music player) and moving away from wireless things as well (headphones) so I’ve brought wires back into my life anyway lol

I have a 9 with Graphene, and use a second profile for banking apps. This profile has a burner google account, and aurora store for banking apps which works fine, just no tap. My main profile is all f-droid/obtanium, though I run sandboxed google services for notifications.
