“You can’t punish the voters for the things the people they voted for did!”
Do you have a source for this that isn’t an easily-generatable png? I’m having trouble finding it.

It’s horribly inefficient. I refuse to use it!
I know what you’re saying is true. But my gut tells me the whole thing is still suspect.
Imagine it this way. Libraries have a lot of books, and to make room for new, popular titles, they have to get rid of old books which haven’t been checked out in years.
Enter a book enthusiast. Say what you will about him, or why he’s here. He enjoys spending time around knowledge. He hangs out with his friends here. But his role in this library is that he pays for the pleasure of burning the designated books. He pays a pretty penny for the privilege of setting a book on fire. His money is important to keeping the library running.
Do I recognize his place within the library system? I guess. Do I want to be his friend? Hell no.
They should get one! That’s a very normal thing for a library to have.

“And that’s why dad went into the cheap retirement home and doesn’t live with us.”

“If we don’t flood the front page with Nazi stuff, we’re as bad as the Nazis” was always my least favorite argument.

I firmly disagree. “The way to stop Nazism is to let them talk more and let more people see a bunch of Nazi stuff” can be judged as nonsense by inspection.
I love the qualifier “known human” hahahaha!
“Should”? Hell no. “Do”? Yes, all of them, all the time, no matter whether I know about it or not.
Good lord, please lead with that in the future! Censorship is much more convincing than “there’s an account I don’t like”!
Do you have a more convincing argument for Bluesky being a “Nazi platform” than “a government organization opened an account”? Because they could literally open a Lemmy account tomorrow on whatever server.

The point is the advancement of science, not simply the travel itself. Space science is integral to many advances we take for granted these days.
“If I can’t spam your home screen with sex jokes, that’s called censorship”

I wouldn’t want to have to take time to review budget proposals for my municipality, province, and country every day after I get off work. We have people for that.
Didn’t you just post something with the opposite message, not even a month ago?
