We still don’t have a good alternative for prepress production media. I’ve seen some workarounds, but Adobe is the only actively developed option feature complete for this use case. Mostly because the chances that prepress workers and offset printer operators are also FOSS fiends and developers abysmally low. Prepress is such a small industry too since most people don’t really care if their print media looks like shit

This looks like what conservatives are terrified of after hearing Trump talk about immigration lol

I TOLD YOU ABOUT THE STAIRS BRO

I still hoped they’d try to apply it broadly, if only to see the outcome of Ageless Linux

I remember reading about this guy as a kid! I think it was either Highlights or Ask magazine.

I’m definitely gonna creep on Swappa for a 10 fold once the 11 is out 🤩

You could, but that info was still there. Schools and educational material taught us that blood was blue, Columbus discovered America, and animals were hot or cold blooded.

Autism Spectrum Disorder

The hidden meaning behind sarcasm is already difficult to convey through text alone, and autism makes that challenge tenfold.

It’s not as if Canonical hasn’t already enshittified. I don’t think going public is going to change that much.

Nah, it feels a lot more artistic and expressive than corporate-incentivized shorts. I’m here for it!

Now’s our chance, it’s time for a hostile takeover from my fellow "i use nix btw"s!

Thanks to .NET Core and modern .NET, yes! It’s open source and my favorite language easily for this.

Seriously. People need to stop suggesting Brave.

Onion Vinaigrette No Contact

One of the biggest feautures missing for professionals is CMYK color space. There are some workarounds found, but it’s not at the same level of Adobe and certainly not built for it.

I switched to FOSS everything and I still miss a lot of stuff even if I’ll never touch Adobe again. Everything is so much harder to use and that was a sacrifice I chose to make for the sake of software freedom

Yet another Gitea self-hoster here. It mimics GitHub behavior so well that it’s pretty much directly compatible with GitHub Actions and everything. It has a tool built just for mass migrating repositories.
