Besides the obvious conclusions, this case also shows how (state sanctioned) racism makes everyone less secure. The real perpetrator has not been caught and operated under conditions that minimized his risks for actual consequences. Maybe he wouldn’t have killed Venice Parker if there had been a greater risk of discovery. So racism killed two people in that case.

They don’t really admit wrongdoing. They claim Trump deceived them, I assume about being a sexual predator and a pedophile.
They stand by their position on his policies, which are arguably worse for America than his depravity. Explicitly they mention the misogyny (abortion bans) and disregard for human lives (deregulation of guns), but claim to disagree on everything else - which must include climate and environmental protection, poverty and wealth, foreign policy etc.
This is learning from others’ mistakes huh? Can’t have religious zealot wreak havoc like in the US, or Israel…

One of these things is not like the others. And it’s the essence of the feeling, sadly. The other stuff is just being a decent person.
