Looks like a good chunk of the world doesn’t ban/regulate the use. China does. Like Europe, Canada, and other richer nations, exceptions are made for things like art and industrial practices. Even if lead paint is “banned” you may still be able to get it.

From reading the article and the linked article from there it seems like the idea is to get a conscription program in place but the first conscripts will be those who willingly joined. Then with the program in place they can move to “real” conscription. Maybe?

I had to look up these numbers to put it in an American/tRump context.
It’s about the size of the USA states of Virginia or Tennessee. About 3.5x the size of Hawaii and 9x the size of Puerto Rico.
It would be 36/57 of USA state, federal district, or territory by size.

OSM relies on users inputting address and business information. Add in those things as you go and it benefits everyone.
It’s a bit of a snowball effect, once people start putting in information it’s easier for people to use so more people use it and there are more people to enter information.

OSM pulls from a few different sources, but for exact details it’s the community that enters the data. Can’t find an address or business? Add it and then it’ll be there for everyone.
Or, Apple is flat out lying and does get a copy of everything.
