But why do they want to charge based on usage? Their users are already subscribed. It’s not like they run cloud services or anything. There is literally no cost to them except for the self imposed analytics stuff.

It’s so great to see. Just proves what everyone was saying all along. Communities are built by the people that participate in them, and not the tools. Get rid of those tools and we’ll find other ones.

It’s early stages but the conversations here feel more “high effort”. I think it might also be because of signup approvals which weeds out bots/low effort posters. I do feel the growth pains with the timeouts happening more often but overall content-wise it is quite nice.

I’m using the OnePlus Nord (the first one) and I am still very happy with it.

I used to have a Blackberry Key2 (and the Key1 before that). Those were awesome Android phones too, and much easier to code with using the physical keyboard. I kept the Key2 and use it for when I need to do some typing but don’t want to use the laptop.

I used to own an iPhone (6s was the last one) but I ended up switching because of the Blackberries. I like how I can just install Termux and turn my phone into a device that I can work on. Also Android just seems way ahead in terms of software features with their OS.

Great recommendation on Euro Truck Simulator. I didn’t think I’d like it either but it is great fun especially for the limited time I have to play games nowadays
