And the lost opportunities were painful (Hugh reuniting with Picard for two scenes and then Hugh being killed; Seven being the (a) Borg Queen for 30 seconds… So much waste.

And the less told about ‘assimilation-via-transporter but only for young people’, the better. Even more stupid than the transporter commbadges.

That was only explicitly so half of season 1. It gets much better. And the possible advantages of rhythm and speed were very much showcased in the crossover episode of LD with SNW.

I hate when the actors are so far distant of the universe they’re playing in that they say “I miss singing and dancing” and the showrunners insert space for actors to show off, without consideration to the coherence of the universe.

I find Christina Chong lovely, but her nostalgia of musicals drove me away from SNW. That and the Trelane/Q episode.
