Honestly, having only seriously played around with Ubuntu a little bit a year ago, CachyOS has been nothing but smooth sailing for me. I would consider myself pretty savvy, but with the built in tools provides even a casual user should be able to get up and going.
I use paru instead of pacman, so I can get AUR packages easily, and outside of running a 4 letter command and following the prompts, that’s just about the only thing I’ve had to do in a terminal.
Arch and its variants(CachyOS, EndeavourOS, and Manjaro) are just “difficult” insofar as they usually need you to understand the basics of using the terminal, and how to look up documentation as needed.
With CachyOS, I haven’t played much with the others so I can’t speak for them, you could get away with using the GUI tools shipped by default for a long time and not have any problems.
If it works for you, that’s what matters! Difficulty is subjective, too.
Yes, they made vote scaling more aggressive after that one Battlefront dev got downvoted into oblivion.
The ol’ IT person magic touch - the second you touch the machine, it works flawlessly!
Only problem is if it’s one of those problems that’s workflow-based. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve said “well it seems to work fine for me” only to watch the user do the same task in the most janky, roundabout way, and that is the source of their problem.
Of course Win11 ran slow, the CPU the tests were done on is 6 generations behind the official cutoff. I’d rather see the results from the same experiment run on a i5-8400, which is min specs.
It’ll still be slow, but at least it won’t be an unsupported platform.
Basegame CS’s traffic system is notably bad - if you wanted anything realistic you needed mods to change it. No clue how CS2’s plays, but I can’t imagine it’d be much better.
Seeing it live was a bit of a fever dream - the realization that the intro is going longer than normal + the shift in tone hit harder at 3am
This is how I feel, and I know a lot of folks who are in a similar boat. We’re sold this story of being financially stable, having a house, a car, and being able to retire, but for a lot of Americans that is looking more and more like a pipe dream each day.
The poorly educated/informed people eat up the propaganda like candy, vote against their own interests, and tear down everyone around them in hopes that they’ll be on top one day, and it simply won’t happen in the present state our country is in.

Calling Taco Bell tex-mex is dubious at best, as well! It’s definitely inspired by it, and has had some influence on the restaurants since; but it’s far too fast-food-y to be considered proper tex-mex. TB is in a category all its own creation, which is definitely not a bad thing.
I didn’t hear a single thing about the game until after it was already dead, and that’s why I’m not surprised it flopped.
If they’d done better(read: any) marketing or public testing, then it might have been at least salvageable, but from what I’ve read it seems like people weren’t fans of the character designs and gameplay either.
The thing about IT for older folks is you have to be up for conversation too. Most of the customers I have only get out for church, so if I come out to see them it might be the first conversation they’ve had in days.

I’m surprised they thought it was going to do well. I heard absolutely nothing about the game until after it launched, which is never a good sign to me.
If it was free, I’d definitely give it a try, but paid multiplayer shooters just aren’t worth it to me anymore.
I can tell you, as someone who has done tax prep for friends for the last few years, that the customer service this year compared to last year was miles better. Shorter waits, less turnaround, I was actually kinda impressed.
I get why people downvoted this, but you’re not entirely incorrect. The two “sides” do exist, they just both happen to be on the same side and aren’t entirely opposites like “left” and “right” would imply.
Until we see a socioeconomic party platform that wants similar reforms to what is seen in the Nordics presently when it comes to policy, there’s no true “left” party in the US, IMO
I will forever miss the old pepper and onion mix that CFA had before the breakfast revamp.
The chicken salad recipe was pretty basic, if I remember right though. They have it listed on their app, too, I think; The only important note is you have to use debreaded fried filets, not ones with breading on. Grilled will change the flavor a little because of the marinade.

I want to say that is either a Windows app or one of the preloads from the manufacturer - I recognize the icon but cannot for the life of me remember what it’s called.
Lenovo and Dell specifically, too, I don’t think it’s an HP program.
Edit: duh, I didn’t notice that’s an HP system. That’s either a shipped program or one from Windows.
All I remember about Cookie and Cream was fighting with my player 2 cause we couldn’t get far in the first level at all
Granted, I think I was like 6 or 7 at the time, so I imagine the game isn’t that hard, but in my head it’s the dark souls of my childhood
