That is true

Right and I get that, and I’m not saying that’s a bad idea, but again I just get a really bad taste in my mouth for policies that aim to save people from themselves. It just feels like the government being a parent instead of a service of the people. Secondly, it doesn’t really fix the root of the problem, which doesn’t always have to be the goal in policies obviously, but reluctantly making people make decisions with higher prices. Where should the government stop then in using higher taxes to get us to do what it wants?
Again, I’m torn on this because it may be the correct thing to do to cut down sugar consumption, but I hate the precedent it creates.
Maybe. A possibility for sure. I’m just not really into policies of trying to save people from themselves.
For me? I do what I can by just avoiding it as much as I can.
No, because just banning things rarely achieves the desired results.
And whether it’s cane sugar or high fructose corn syrup, too much sugar in general is the problem, much more so than the subtle differences between the two.
Yes, I even have a class A CDL. However, I don’t do it much so I’m not the greatest in a big truck and am competent in a regular vehicle
My grandpa would just set the old oil filters when he would change the oil in the 3 farm tractors he owned. He did that for years and 30 years later that spot is still like blacktop. At least it’s only a 2’x2’ spot but I couldn’t imagine if he dumped the actual oil. And that’s only 3 diesel tractors twice a year.
The thought that shops were doing it for years is sad
I’m not disagreeing with that at all.
About half of production between that and crops? That’s actually not bad. Not bad besides the total, but that’s a good split imo
To think that getting rid of those two things is a silver bullet is naive.
People like to shit on animal agriculture. However, you have to consider that only about 3% of the earth’s entire surface is suitable for agriculture, and even less to grow most of the crops we eat. Animals can be raised on land that’s not suitable for crops. It spreads out where we use our water, which is a good thing. Animal agriculture also gives us a plethora of goods besides just meat, and again, it’s goods from land that otherwise we cannot farm.
As with all things in life, there are better and worse ways to go about it, but animal agriculture isn’t ruining the planet in itself.
Secondly, the problem with biofuels is it should be replaced with nuclear, and getting hungry isn’t going to change that, a lot of people are just going to die from starvation and violence directly caused by starvation.
Yes, even as someone without anxiety this happens. This is especially true if I haven’t gotten enough sleep the last couple/few days. Also, it comes with a hangover besides the physical ailments. Lastly, if I’ve been stressed for a long while about certain things and those eventually get resolved, I’ll still feel anxiety/stress for awhile, it’s what I consider burnout as it applies to me.
Agree with most of the changes and overall a good change… but in my opinion the term “organic” as it refers to agriculture is way to overrated.
Everyone just needs to never go to Reddit again… the the real “fuck u/spez “
Haha, stupid computer
I thought I was a late transitioner, finally retiring from XP in 2014 for Windows 8. Goddamn.
You feel that? You feel it slipping?
When you have to be this hands on with your site, manipulating it, it just means your circling the drain… slowly working your way down.
It’s going to get exhausting putting out these little fires constantly. If only they had a group of people that would happily do the moderation for them… for free.
But why even acknowledge it if you’re just going to lie about it. Cringe.
Lol, this isn’t being influenced by Reddit at all /s
Yep, exactly. And to me that’s very broken. A good game but with major flaws imo
Right. One of the best things about Diablo 1 and 2 to me were being able to grind a bit, and noticing how much stronger you were after you leveled a few times. I remember my first play through in Diablo 1 I got my ass beat in Act 4… so I went back and reran Act 3 portions and leveled a few times which helped a lot.
Your character never feels stronger, and you don’t really get rewarded much for leveling in D4… because you make everything else stronger too when you level. So that’s a big bummer for me, even though I was excited about at first
Who cares? Without trucks moving goods, we literally have nothing and society as we know it doesn’t exist.
