or be drafted, but after all that time, those are basically the only differences.Btw, Permanent Residents can be drafted, FYI.

Oh that’s some bullshit. I honestly just assumed that wasn’t a thing because obviously that’s not a reasonable thing to expect from residents.
Edit: the tiniest reassurance: it doesn’t apply to student visas
