Additionally, it seems we are not going back to a signing cap. So the Dieon method is officially legal long term. The jury is still out on viable, especially with a shrinking window.

I don’t really have a strong opinion on the transfer portal window (the real problem is tampering). And good to see they are also addressing gambling, even though they don’t yet have a policy.

What is missing in this article, though, is that the NCAA also quietly modified some FBS membership rules (scroll to the bottom of their press statement). Notably, the FCS to FBS transition fee rises from $5,000 to $5M.

      So… expansion fees?

Somebody remind me again how this isn’t professional sports?

Yep, and totally arbitrary. Where’s the justification? What is the money going to be used for? Digging more cheeseburger receipts out of the trash to slap penalties on big name coaches?

Sucks for Austin Peay who is looking to make the jump. Sounds like they are willing to pay up though.

Oh no we can keep them far… FAR away from us, that would be fine

This banner would make me question the education in Clarksville, but would leave me feeling very welcome and encouraged and also confident in their public restroom facilities.

Yeah because the ncaa represents the best interest of all member institutions. I’m unfortunately not surprised at these new fbs shackles
