I still have to believe that he has a chance to turn it around and at least hit .250 or something. After what we saw in 2019 and 2020 it just seems impossible for him to be this bad. He’s a career .350 OBP guy currently sitting at .285.
That being said, he turns 35 tomorrow. If he doesn’t salvage this season in the second half, I’ll probably be ready to accept that he’s cooked. Still owe him 3 years/$45 million 🤢
