Don’t you guys call this ‘whataboutism’? Anyways, I’m less concerned with China than the US since China hasn’t dropped a single bomb in decades while the US drops dozens a day in the middle east.

im sorry but i think you are misunderstanding the pacific geopolitical play here.

i am just weary that any super power is going to fuel instability in strategic locations.

also i didnt compare it to the middle east, was just correcting the fact that china ‘has not bombed in decades’

The US is the largest cause of instability in literally every region in the world. Just because you’re afraid of another country taking over the role of destabilising other countries does not mean you should defend the US doing it. It’s the same excuse Israeli’s use to genocide the Palestinians ‘because otherwise the Palestinians will genocide us back’. It’s a standpoint that’s based purely on racism, not on facts.

again, i never defended a fascist country, just tried to inform that china (another fascist country) is also dropping bombs. Im sorry you feel the need to argue a point i never mentioned.

Missile tests is usually not what someone means by ‘dropping bombs’. Every large military does missile tests. They’re harmful for the environment, can be used as a threat based on the location, but are very different from bombing actual people or important infrastructure.

I’m saying you have no choice. It’s us or China. Cold hard facts. You’re fucked. We all are. You’re more fucked than you were before.

No, you are. You’re American. The rest of the world is going to be fine without American bombs dropping all over it.

You simply can’t see the big picture - emotion and myopathy have overridden your analytical capabilities. Not surprising.

One day, you’ll think back in this exchange and realize how utterly fucked your thoughts were.

Quite an interesting comment from someone defending US imperialism. Please tell us why we should fear China more than the US.

Jesus. Look at history and compare all the people killed in mindless US wars vs all the people killed by China in the name of “progress”.

I am not arguing that the US has it right. No one has it right - that is human frailty. Choose your hegemony, because you will have one.

                  I’m done with this discussion.

How many people do you think China has killed vs the US? Because I’m pretty sure the US wins by that metric (as in the US killed more people).

Also it’s pretty ironic to comment on Chinese hegemony when USians literally learn in school that they’re the center of civilisation and the heroes in every war. Even in Europe we now have to learn that the US was our grand liberator from the nazis while it was actually the Russians who liberated most of Europe.
