MAGA took over the Republican Party for a reason if the progressives were able to organize their way out of a paper bag they could do it themselves.
That reason is that the GOP allowed them to. In 2016 the GOP held an extremely competitive primary and actively embraced MAGA as their new path to success, while the DNC decided to make sure a progressive doesn’t get the nomination again even at the cost of losing the election.

He was on every single ballot. Every one. I voted for him. He didn’t win, not because the DNC screwed him, but because THE VOTERS DIDN’T VOTE FOR HIM.
His voters to be exact dint come in large droves to vote for him, and many other Dem voter was mostly a moderate/center right voter.

The Democratic Party needs to get it through their thick skulls that the voters who make up the margin of victory do not vote in Democratic primaries.
A lot of the time they don’t vote in the general either.
They don’t vote in the general for a neoliberal.
There’s this consistent condescending assumption that the Democrats have that anybody who refuses to vote for a neoliberal would never vote for any possible Democratic candidate, and it just isn’t true.
But the reason Trump wanted to run against Sanders is because Trump would wipe the floor with him.

that is true, a small portion dont even vote to avoid jury duty, jury duty is significant enough to affect peoples finances that dont register to vote. JD pays next to nothing for jury duty.
