I really don’t think it’s any deeper than “me good king, make kingdom bigger.”
Yup, same shit as Putin. The only measure of the Tsar is how much land they can add to the kingdom during their reign, and Trump is OBSESSED with this idea that he’s a master negotiator. Negotiating the purchase of an entire sovereign nation would be the masterstroke.
