CFB is back! I’ll try to follow along closer this season - had to take a bit of a hiatus last year because life got in the way.
Week 0 feels a little lackluster this year… I don’t even recognize the broadcast crew on this Ireland game
I was thinking similarly about week 0 - not a whole lot of games this weekend (in 1-A at least), and not really any matchups that are particularly interesting.
Welcome back! It felt a little empty without Texas.
No real matchups, but I’m excited to be done talking about court proceedings (hopefully). Although that said I am genuinely curious about Memphis @ UNLV
I’ve had some of the FCS games on in the background while getting work done over the past few days, but I can’t wait for the Ireland game kickoff.

Didn’t watch all of it. Glad I didn’t. Sonny can’t get these guys disciplined to save his life, even when they’re otherwise playing well, which they did not today. Gary Patterson’s legacy gets safer by the loss and it looks like it’s even starting to claim a higher proportion of the playoff year.
More generally, I’m having trouble getting motivated to see this year’s crops of transfers. Get that bag, boys, but I don’t necessarily want to watch, at least not quite so enthusiastically. The season will probably worm its way into taking up my time, but watching the teams and fans get to know each other in August and September is not great viewing.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but the NFL feels like the purer experience right now.

I actually really like P Lew, not sure why we let him transfer. I’m guessing he didn’t want to sit behind Bishop, but we’ve always had at least a little bit of rb by committee under Heup.
